MIAZ hosts 12 guest speakers at their 2024 Conference in Victoria Falls

The Motor Industry Association of Zimbabwe (MIAZ) recently convened their 2024 Conference at the Elephant Hills Hotel in Victoria Falls. The theme of this year’s conference was “Shifting Gears: Navigating the evolution of the Automotive Industry”.

Member delegates were addressed on a number of subjects, by the Zimbabwe Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority(ZERA), Zimbabwe Pensions sector as well as 13 invited guest speakers from South Africa and Eswatini, amongst others. With the challenges of the time difference between Sydney, Australia and Victoria Falls overcome, an on-line webinar and video training presentation on ‘Understanding the Numbers’ in the business, by Jeff Smit and Geoff Mutton, the Directors of TaT Australia reinforced the benefits of Technology and Innovation in accessing information across continents and around the world.

17 presentations and 4 demonstrations were delivered over the two and a half days by the invited guest speakers, who included -
