Peugeot Citroën South Africa are embarking on a strategy for growth by joining forces with a new and well-known investor in the Namibian region. “Our aim is to focus on developing our brand by expanding our footprint in Namibia, increasing our range of products and delivering improved customer service and support” said Xavier Gobille, MD of Peugeot Citroën South Africa.

“PeugeotCitroënSouth Africa (Pty) Ltd who have had an existing presence in Namibia, will be partnering with the new investor (soon to be announced) which will allow us to expand our retail presence and target new and untapped opportunities in the region. Peugeot Citroën South Africa (Pty) Ltd has a premium product range.
“Our partnership with the new investor will give us the opportunity of offering a complete range of Peugeot products, and an improved level of after sales service and maintenance” Xavier said. “We value all the support of the customers that have remained loyal to the brand over the years and would like to assure them that service, repair and maintenance obligations will be honoured by the new investor”.
The supply of parts will continue as per normal. All service, repair and maintenance obligations will be carried out by Peugeot Citroën South Africa (Pty) Ltd at a new alternative site.
Customers vehicles will be relocated from Peugeot Windhoek, Spes Bona at the cost of Peugeot Citroën South Africa (Pty) Ltd. Regarding the future of Peugeot and Citroën in Namibia, Peugeot Citroën South Africa (Pty) Ltd remains committed to all customers of the Peugeot and Citroën brands. “We are in an advanced stage of discussions with a new investor who has a larger footprint in the region”, said Mehdi Mokrane, head of Dealer Network Development, Customer Quality and Training.
“We look forward to a long lasting and beneficial relationship with the new investor, details of which will be announced shortly.” Mehdi said. “Together we will take the Peugeot Citroën brands to new heights in the Namibian region.”
