Established in 1986, Turbo Exchange is a company dedicated to the Southern African Turbocharger industry. Originally located in Johannesburg, branches where later established in Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town where each facility has a comprehensive stock holding and repair capabilities. Total staff compliment includes 45 members where the majority has over 15 years turbo service with the company.

Initially, Turbo Exchange’s main activity was the supply of reconditioned Turbo Service Exchange turbochargers, however in line with manufacturing trends our focus has moved to the sale of new units and component parts. Our distribution of components, new turbochargers and remanufactured units includes a broad cross-section of the user industry throughout South Africa as well as our neighbouring states. Turbo Exchange has enjoyed a steady growth since inception with a current monthly average of 380 remanufactured units.

Our inventory consists of a broad product base applicable to the local transport, earthmoving, industrial and agricultural markets. We have established many loyal customers amongst who are government institutes, municipal bodies, Original Engine Manufacturers, Approved Engine Remanufactures, Diesel Fuel Injection System Remanufactures and other turbo repair workshops.

We have identified the importance of a strong turbo service dealer network and as such have service dealers countrywide with Desktop links whereby information can be obtained pertinent to our local market. Turbo Exchange offers its customers onsite training where we outline the importance of correct diagnosis, maintenance and replacement using only original Holset and BorgWarner turbochargers.

Being recognized as Holset “Middle East and Africa. Other than being official factory Distributors for Holset, KKK, Schwitzer and Hitachi we also hold a comprehensive stock of Garrett, IHI and MHI turbochargers.distributor of the year” adds credibility to our business and we are extremely proud of the achievement awarded for the forth occasion year.
